4Runner Custom Box Creation - PC ???s

check this out for me:

this guy made a custom box and i'm going that route

could i mount a PC in this box?

do i have to be concerned with static or fire?

i can make it slightly bigger to fit a microatx case (thats my board)

Should be fine. Make sure you have ventilation though for the heat. Static shouldn't be a problem as long as each circuit is properly grounded which should be done anyway if mounting it in a wood box instead of a metal chassis.

Make sure your motherboard and power supply are properly grounded. There is too much electrical interference having a computer in a vehicle as it is. If everything is grounded to the chassis of the vehicle, that will reduce the chance of noise in your audio system.
