BMW Bezel... What is this...

I saw this on the web...
Does anyone know what part this is and if its a BMW part or aftermarket?
Most importantly, does anyone know where to get it :-)

That is a stock Navigation unit fitted with NAV-TV or similar (video inputs) Nothing fancy.

That seems to be in an e38 7 series. If you are looking for one for a e46 3 series, I think this (http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/show...&highlight=e46) guy sells them. They may even work in other models too, I couldn't tell you.

Good luck,
Dan

Diy

Yeah, I found Rich's post and contacted him but haven't heard back. I was hoping I could build something myself using an aftermarket part as a starting point.

Anyone have one of these?

I was thinking of modifying this one.

Standard DIN Radio Adapter For 3 Series (99-on)
This BMW part allows you to install an after-market DIN standard (2" x 7") radio in your 3 Series console. Fits BMW 3 Series 1999-on.
pad
$39.95

Just wondering if that is an OEM BMW part or aftermarket? If OEM, do you know the part number?
Could you also tell me on which site you found the pic, as I'd like to have a look at it.

thx

Click the OEN isntall sticky int he fabrication section. That site has pics of the BMW nav with the TV addon. If you could get the front bit with the buttons and it was 7" screen opeining it would be perfect for a car PC.

@ Scouse Monkey: I was actually referring to the DIN radio adapter, not the BMW Nav.

Many thanx Scouse Monkey. You've answered my question perfectly.

Now I can use the info to see if I can source one locally.

That's for an E39. It's not the same size or shape as the E46. If you look, they used the same pic for the E39 and E46. Just lettin you know before you blow 40 bucks.

That's the BMW Navigation monitor. It sells for a lot. They won't sell just the plastics.
