Pre Built LED Assembly

I was on the site and came accross these. I havent looked into them much, but could be potentially useful to some folks.

More info is avaliable on their site and in their current catalog (Page 10-11).

I'm guessing not many. Check into luxeon star LEDs if you realy want to replace your head light with LEDs. One of the new audi's (i think its audi, if not just google car led headlight and I am sure you will find it) use them for there lights. Also read a review of one of there LED's here.

Oh well in that case I would take a stab at maby 10'-15' feet. I dont know if they make the super LED's in IR or not.

I emailed that company to find out if they have anything perfect for real headlights. 20000MCD isn't much for a headlight. Even low beam, 35000mcd maybe. And thier LED's are soo ******* huge. And the car your thinking of is INFINITI. I forgot which model, but it has 7 of those type of LED's in a circle with one in the middle as its low beams.... Just the looks of thier HID LED's isn't that impressive. But the price is. 5 bucks for one 20000MCD White LED....I'd be willing to pay for about 6 if they were about 35000mcd or more.

Letís get serious about this infrared
thing with our IR ILLUMINATOR kit.
Kit comes with 36 high power
infrared LEDs(100mA. each), a
2" diameter PC board, 4 resistors,
and assembly notes. Approximate
assembly time is under 1 hour. IR
ILLUMINATOR is designed to operate between
12 and 13.8Vdc, with maximum efficiency at
13.2Vdc. Units can be daisy chained. At 24
feet, the beam is approximately 8 feet in diameter.
Light up the dark with the IR ILLUMINATOR
kit. 940nm/20 degree viewing angle.

$20

not bad for IR illumination
