I added way too much bondo....so lots of sanding is in order. But here is a decent amount of sanding done, now it's time for lots of detail sanding, and I have some holes in the bondo to fill, but overall, things are coming along nicely. I have a pic somewhere with the last big bondo coat before sanding, but when I find that I'll post it up.

Here are more pics:

first primer coat is done. I need to take some 220, or 440 grit paper to the whole thing really quick, and do one more coat of primer. Then it's time to finally paint.

I want this to be finished (being painted) by friday. Then I have to start worrying about everything else. My goal of finishing this week depends on me finding the SEM Products paint.

that unfortunately will be a couple of weeks still.

I might as well do this now, I should write it all down, so I can plan more accordingly.

This is what I have left to purchase:
** Pioneer DEH-P770MP
** 2 pairs of Infinity Kappa 50.5cs 5.25" Component speakers....yes, the 6x9's are history in the rear
** new Infinity Perfect sub to go with it, since I am done withe the RF stuff...
** misc wire, heat shrink tubing, zip ties, etc
** fiberglass sheets, a few gallons of resin, and some MDF....
** oh, yeah, and a DVD player (duh!)
** OEM trunk liner (to hide everything in the trunk)

Things to make:

** 5 port mini ATM fuse holder, relayed, in project box
** 5 second delayed 'turn on' curcuit for above curcuit
(^^ I am going to pull another power line from the battery to power DVD player, screen, cell phone charger, radar detector, and my HU, all on a 5 second delay, to not pull too much power from the battery/altenator)
** 3 second delayed 'turn on' curcuit for my HIDs...for whenever I do them
** MDF frame to lay fiberglass inside to fiberglass my spare tire well for sub. On either side of the sub will be both amps. I'm still debating weather I should show the wiring, or not, and the rear components......probably won't, I want it all to be stealthy.

After all is said and done, all you will see is one 7" screen......HU and DVD will be in the cubby hole, behind the door, and system will be under false floor in the trunk, under OEM trunk liner....pretty sweet in my opinion....stealth mode system, I like that idea

Status report:

I think I need one more light sanding, then the last primer coat. After that I can figure out what color to paint the damn thing.

Bought:
Infinity Kappa 50.5CS Components, for front and rears
Pioneer GEX-P910XM XM Reciever
Pioneer GM-6000F Speaker Amp
Pioneer GM-5000T Sub Amp
Pioneer DEH-P8MP Headunit
10 yeards of fiberglass
1 gallon of resin
2 respirators
3 fiberglass rollers
bunch O' shiz from Partsexpress.com

oh god, what am I doing, I've been hanfging out with 'crazy jweller' too much. He should at least be happy that I bought him a respirator too. Yes I am on a Pioneer kick....I like their **** a lot, so I bought some. gotta love the interweb for prices on stuff.

thanks for the compliments guys, this has been a fun project. Not as crazy as some things I have seen, but it's going to be a clean as hell install. I get to work with fiberglass next week, I am kinda excited about that, should be fun stuff to glass the spare tire well.
