But it helps to perform the job for which they are required.
IE resting your 'king head on.
Oh and sticking monitors in the back of.
PS Modelling clay now out of mould pics to follow this evening.
Note to self maybe I should stop hijacking cris's thread and start one of my own.

I don't mind, not at all! But it would be a good ideea to start another thread, because not so many people will see your project, since this is a headrest one, and so far you're doing a really nice job, and it would be a pitty not to show it off.
Don't forget about those pics!

Nice work.
BTW, I don't think it ever dries inside. When I was fooling around with making an instrument panel with it, I cut into it a few days later. This syrupy ooze leaked out. I came back later in the day and they had grown to be large foam antennas. I'm not suprised the stuff solidified, but I would have though it wouldn't expand anymore at the point.

It dries, if you make holes from time to time, when the surface solidifies...although, for headrests, I'd recommend some kind of automotive foam. This kind of foam is tough as a rock, that's why before covering it with fabric, I covered it in think sponge cloth, so it would be softer on the head.
Btw, I though these were hard before place the sponge cloth, but I've seen the other day on a car, headrests made out of solid plastic...you woudn't want to hit your had over those...

I'll be dedicating a new thread to it when it's finished. Also put the pics on my website, with a tutorial for othe E36 drivers with the whole screen etc.
When you going to do your headrest one again. I think you should because it would help a lot of people out. This thread will eventually fizzle out but if do a new one with the whole set of pics and description it should get made into a sticky.

Looks good.
The only thing, it looks like the headrest are too far forward, have you got a side on shot?

Enforcer: Your eyes are good! Yes they are a little forward, and simply because I didn't measure the distance before making the frame...
