E39 BMW Dash bezel

So how am I doing? I'm not finished yet, but not bad for a couple of evenings worth of work. I would have had it to this point on Monday, but when I put it in the car I realized it was to short. I had to extend it and that allowed me to add the buttons back in. I still have to do a little more sanding, and I want to add two USB ports to the front. I've even been thinking about adding a biometric scanner... but that's just a thought. The top isn't perfectly straight, but it's hidden so it doesn't have to be.

looks good, after it seems smoothe, spay some primer on it, it really lets you see your progress, then after the primer dries full, do some sanding and spot putty(bondo) and you should be pretty close...

Here is my current project, its for a e46 (3 series). I recessed the screen to block sun, and to be able to fit a dvd-rom...

keep it up, show us some more pictures after you get further.

hmm.... I wonder if I can put the CD rom where the useless factory cup holders go on my car... it's not like they work right now anyway.

Yours looks good. So how is just using Bondo going? So far, I'm just using Duramix 4040 and 4058. I have a large tub of Bondo that I could use, but I've never messed with the stuff before (my first idea was to do Fiberglass and bondo)
