Yeah, I've been eyeing their services for a while. For those that want metal cut, you might check out these guys (havn't used them so I can't vouch for them however.)

Quite impressive technology As for the "plastic folks," I think I'll order a bezel for my touchscreen + keyboard + buttons & knobs + mike assembly, there will be too many holes for me and my new friend Dremel to handle

Hey guys!
Thought I may be of interest to you. If anybody needs some laser work done, I have a 25watt laser engraver/cutter. It can't cut through steel, but it can cut through wood, plastic, rubber, etc...It can etch plastic, burn wood, and can mark metal. It can etch glass, etc... If somebody needs some specific stuff done, let me know and I can give you a really good price. Basically I can do it for shipping plus some material costs. Considering for the most part I would purchase plastic from Home Depot or something, I don't do this as a business, so just let me know if you've got some ideas as to stuff you want done, and I can possibly help. It's a pretty cool tool to have laying around the house.

Sounds great! What format do you want, DXF? Or can people make it easier for you and use another format that allows for kerf correction, lead-ins, etc?

idea
I think making a flat shroud for the Lilliput and Xenarc monitors would be key. Most of us can cut & mold it to fit our application, but having a really slick bezel with the holes for the stock controls would be awesome. Anyone up to Autocad-ing these up?

Not sure if this was targeted towards me, however I can't cut steel.

Yes it's a CNC laser cutter/engraver. It cost me a little over 11k.

I use CorelDraw to control the laser, however CorelDraw can import just about every vector format there is. Basically what I would need is the file in the vector format of your choice and the desired dimensions. With that, I could scale the vector to the desired size. I would also need to know what material you would want used, thickness, etc...
My max size is 16"x12", and depending on material, can be cut to a maximum thickness of 1/4" - 1/2".

You have a CNC laser cutter? <drool> I'm totally jealous . Is it the Versalaser by any chance?
I may take you up on your offer, I've got some ideas bouncing around in my head.

Wow, I'm impressed Count me in for a custom bezel as soon as I get my Lilliput and keyboard.
Do you have some pictures of the laser / your projects? It'd be totally awesome to see what it can possibly do (ok, ok, I'm a picture whore, so what? )

Cool! I've been thinking about making some custom accents in acrylic. An amplifier cover, some capacitor tie-downs, maybe some electronics covers with some labels cut right into them. If I can get cheap prices like these I might tak you up on that offer.
What is the minimum thickness to the holes?
