How to make a Fiberglass Mold...

Hi!

I was looking around and found this guide... I know somebody here was trying to replicate a dash part to extend it and tought that would be easier...

http://www.fbodyaudio.com/articlevie...cle=molds.tech

It seems to create a exact replica without to much trouble...

Hope it helps somebody here... I sure will keep this one bookmarked...

ya, the thread was posted in '05. That's almost three years old. I wouldn't expect it to still be around.

not sure if you or not, but:

"Fiberglass Mold"

From those results:

Making a fiberglass mold

How to build a fiberglass body mold

Simple methods for molding fiberglass and carbon fiber

There is more than enough info there to get you started.

i found an interesting one that looks pretty promising.
http://www.smooth-on.com.

(side note) i tried anchoring it and not sure why but it's not showing it as a link, any suggestion)

<a href="http://www.smooth-on.com target="_blank" />does not work</a>

this forum uses BB code rather than html markup. So you have to put [ URL ] [ /URL ] around the link (without spaces). Or just use the link in the reply field.
