you could cut the via logo 1/2mm into the lid or other custom logos people want for an extra fee. that would look cool. Also what about a vent int he lid above the CPU for a fan to me mounted on the outside or have the CPU fan mounted to the lid above the heatsink.

Well im going to look at the other via I/O layouts and figure out which ones i need to make. What i would like to do is order a full 4' x 8' sheet of .063 aluminum, maybe in black this time, that way i can set it up to cut about 25 of these cases at one time. Minimize the waste and have uniformity. Also now that I have mine done I can set the CNC to drill my MoBo standoff holes. Those are what I had the most problem with, getting them to line up. Anyway i'll keep the forums posted about mass-production status. For now though I can custom fab single cases if your interested.

The price will be around 100 dollars. The harddrive mounts next to the MoBo and the m1-atx or m2-atx will mount over the top of the drive. It is set up the same way as the ampie case. If I can get a groupbuy going I could lower the price because I would be making more of them at once and it will bring down production costs.

Yeah, ill send you my prototype. None of the hardware will be included though. Hopefully it will still get some use in your hands. Its def. not the best case, I mean I made the cuts with a table saw, its nothing like my CNC one. So as long as you know that and don't post in the forum that its a piece of crap because it is a Prototype and I was learning to get the fitment right and learning how to use a metal break. You will still need to do some fab work to make it useable but for free your getting a bad *** industructable case - you cant really complain If you want to paypal me 20 bucks that should take care of the packing and shipping costs.

shocker152@hotmail.com is my paypal addy
Yes I will be sending you the prototype which is pictured in the first post less the hardware. You can get thumbscrews or just plain screws at any computer store. The tapped size is 6-32. Remember also this has the 2" x 6" square hole cut into it on one side for the MoBo I/O port plate.

Here is also a picture of a laptop drive placed in there. It still has the aluminum 'rack' that mounts it to the laptop but that will not be there when i get the new drive. (the one in the picture is HIT UP!!, just there to show size and placement) Also in the pic is my test equipment, which will obviously not be there when its finished. The P.S. will sit just above the H.D. on aluminum standoffs. Im also lookinh at cutting some holes in the side of the case for some more USB ports. I just dont think 2 is enough. I mean GPS and the touchscreen will fill that up, and I hate USB hubs, it seems they never work right, or you get conflicts, etc. That or I may wire some of the USB stuff that will not be removed right to the motherboard.
On another note i just started playing with some front ends. Tested out frodo, centrafuse & Roadrunner. So far im liking frodo & RR.
What do you want to use the case for eskalde? It would be good for a P.S. and a full size harddrive or 2. .

i would suggest selling the whole case(if you plan on doin alittle manufacturing) with fans premounted. and all hardware included for around $125 then you'd be like the porshe of carpc cases. i dont praticularly care for the cases on the mp3car.com store site. I would much rather have this.
