do you have an ETA?? I'm about to just plunge in and make one myself - however I'd much rather purchase one if possible.

I'm still waiting - Ready for sale???

Actually - would there be a way to fit this with the cupholder someway, somehow?? - And about that filler piece - would it also come with the monitor's trim piece? Thanks again for taking your time working on this for those of us who cannot get to the 'fabrication' part -

Personally, I was considering the WRX kit, but that's an expensive choice for something that still needs an extra piece to make it look complete - so I'll leave that as plan B ... just in case...

i'll jump on the bandwagon :-) ...what's the status for a B5 Audi (2002 S4)? I think someone was doing an investigation / sending measurements, not sure if they followed through?

Best picture I have of mine (at the time, leaving OEM HU was requirement...but i'm looking (like all of you!) to fully integrate it now):
.

Price sounds totally reasonable for that amount of blood, sweat and tears ;-)

TIA,
Per

UPDATE:

I made the mold for the tabs that will let the bezel snap into the dash.

I molded the tab from the cup holder filler peice. I just need to make 4 tabs then i will test it out in the car tomorrow and make sure it works, If it does i will be making one final mold and will then be ready for production!!!

another reason i wanted to use this new design is so you can use it even if you have the cup holders above the sreen

Tabs work!!!!

I just need to do some fine adjustments to make it a little tighter of a fit, but the idea works!
