Nice job tc! I finally registered instead of just searching mp3car... My Macura will begin development soon. Finally have the money to start it. This will be a big help in trying to make a bevel for the Xenarc so thanks!

Turbocad:
Can you tell me the name of the second product you use from 3M. I didn't see where you mentioned it.
Thanks, and super job, it looks great.

OK, this is the 3m stuff... the picture pretty much shows it...
3m automix & then the part # as shown is 05895... this should be all you need to find this stuff, just about any body repair supply house should be able to sell this to you...
another note, lately a lot of guys have contacted me about doing work for them, well I'm so overwhelmed with work right now that I really couldn't consider adding anything else to my schedule for at least another month or 2
... I did reply to most but there are a few guys that I haven't even replied too... if this is the case then I apologize, but lately I've been overwhelmed with requests.... by spring time I should be able to entertain a few projects again
thanks & sorry....

How much of this stuff are you using?
I am interested in making a similar addition to my car as you have for this altima, and I started to look up prices for the two epoxies you used.
I found this site that sells the automix compound and I was suprised at the price of a 13 oz tube.
My question for you is how much of a tube are you using to coat the piece?

try the 5 oz kit of the 3m stuff, that 13oz kit is huge.., like this one
1 6oz dynatron & 1 5oz 3m should do more than one bezel, depending on size of course, really large consoles may even need more than one too...
this one shown here took around one full dynatron & less than 1/3 of the 5oz 3m kit I think...

Factory Bezel Question
This is excellent work, however too much for me to tackle! I would like to simply replace the dash storage area with a video screen while keeping the factory look. I would like to ask two questions... (1). Where did you purchase the extra bezel? (2). Would it be possible (same fit) to utilize the bezel out of a 2006 Altima that has the navigation and use a 7" video screen in place? Thanks!

Ok, thanks. I look forward to making this happen!
After looking at the prices of the 5 oz and the 13 oz, I thought that you'd be much more likely to get that 13 oz tube.
