MKIV/MK4 Volkswagen Golf R32/Anniversary Aluminium Xenarc 700TSV bezel feeler-UPDATE
Got a Mk4 Golf with Alu Trim? Fancy One of these?!!
All credit to Glow/VW_Freak on mp3car on his install for this!
Here is my first group buy for a Xenarc 700TSV alu bezel to match the Brushed alu/R32 dash. This bezel allows the fitment of the Xenarc 7" panels to the Golf/Jetta/Bora radio cage, and will match the R32/anniversary brushed finish. This bezel allows you to keep the OEM cup holder above the screeen, however for my install I plan to remove the cup holder mechanism from the unit and install my slot load DVD-RW behind the brushed alu (motorised?! ) flap
As most of you will know the Xenarc 700TSV is regarded as the panel to use for car PC installs.
Anyway, heres the grit:
The price we're currently looking at is £53.50 GBP.
This price is based on a 20 off batch.
International shipping isn't a problem and will be charged at cost.
There are 6 different configurations of the bezel available:
1) Bezel with buttons & LED hole no IR receptor (as shown above)
2) Bezel with only buttons no LED hole or no IR receptor
3) Bezel only without buttons or LED or IR receptor
4) Bezel with buttons & LED & IR receptor hole
5) Bezel with buttons and IR receptor hole no LED
6) Bezel with IR receptor without buttons or LED
I want mine installed as soon as! the minute we get 20 interested this goes into production.
Please PM/email me your quantity required, username, name, email address, bezel type and full shipping address.

I could model that in SolidWorks but I don't know how to generate toolpaths for a CAM program.
PS Where did you get that keyboard?

Shadow, I only mentioned the toolpaths as this is what I was told by one of the engineering companies. Im pretty sure you know more about this than me, is this something that isn't usaally required? For the time being Icecore is kindly asking a friend to create the autocad model, but if he doesn't have any success Il drop you a PM if thats OK?
The keybards are manufactured by KeySonic, the model show is a USB ACK-620WK. These come with blue LEDs for the NUM/CAPS/SCROLL lock lights so will be very fitting with the mk4 dash. There is a good supplier in the UK who has them here:

They also make a brushed alu wireless keyboard if USB up fron isnt an option

$70 for that wireless keyboard? Holy crap.
The wired one is reasonably priced. Is it aluminum or is it plastic?

Looking at the description and from Glows thread too, its proper aluminium. £35 for a proper wireless (not IR) keyboard with buit in touch pad isnt bad by my reckoning
You fancy a bezel then shadow?

I'm also VERY interested in that bezel. Hell, if it gets it done faster put me down for 2! I've been wanting to do this but the rounded "bondo" look doesn't entice me much.
I recall seeing the original pics of that install and if i recall it had a motorized tilt too, right?
I'm in the US too by the way...
Thanks!
