Amp question

So i got this Titan Hi-Fonic 2x 300 watt amp, runs at 2ohms. Im gonna bridge the speaker outs to run only one sub. Ive heard this will drop the ohms down to 1; subs are made for 2 or 8 ohms. Impedance too low? It that dangerous for the sub with such low impedance?

why is this in the faq section?

either way i wouldnt worry about the subs. id worry about the amp. doesnt soundlike its stable down to one ohm and it will more than likely over heat and go into protect mode if your lucky. either that or it will fry and be done for.
