The main reason why I went through all the trouble: so I can lock my trunk and not have to worry about getting my laptop stolen.

The amps have been there since 1995 (truck was built fall of 95). The computer only since last year.

But to be fair...I hope to mount a new amp...to replace the others ON/IN the Sub box.

I agree with you...... people with trucks have a hard time, especially if you have a Dodge truck or SUV, Red you know this you have the same as me, well the front half that is. The Dakota and Durango have the same front half and front half interior. My PC install was supposed to be small and now its hugeeeeeeeeeeee. I dont know if you have the same center console, but all the USB and Serial devices have it jammed full.... The PC was so big it has to be mounted on the back of the front passenger seat to not be in the way..... but all the electrical and wiring has to go under the seat, my setup is to large to put it anywhere else. On a side note though, you can take steps to make it "my friends are stupid and mess with my stuff" proof. I am going to take the passenger seat out so I have space to work with and have a plastic enclousure bolted to the floor.... inside will be labled barrier strips and and what not.... No electronics will go in this box so it will be made water and dust proof and on the PC all the cables are plug and play.... so no fuss when taking the PC out. Only issue is, that I have to get this layout right because once the seat is back on, I cannot fix anything unless I take the seat back out....

So in saying, were there is a will, there is a way!!!!!! Especially when you have no choice. Incase your wondering, I didnt put the PC in the back, because I have 3 large dogs and they get very very nasty and dirty when i take them to the beach ot park. I dont want them to mess up my PC.

PS: RedGTiVR6..... Im going to be upgrading my engine.... Is there any hope in doing that to a 03, 4.7 Magnum V8?

Sure there is. It's all in how much money you want to spend.

Yea I know, alot of people though, tell me that I cant do much to my engine because I have the newer Magnum which has electronic everything. I do see there is a Turbo Upgrade but not sure if its wise. Anyways is it ok to post pictures of my custom box for under the seat when its done, also how to do a good job on layout so it is not in danger of being tampered with?

"Speed costs money.......How fast do you want to go?"

This tag line that comes on every invoice from HESCO engine rebuilding in Birmingham Alabama. Love it.
