There is no Front Speaker option on this step and no 5.1, it only has the Master Volume with no 5.1 option.
Even so, I managed to get my SP13000 working after hours of playing around with it. What I found is this:
The amp that I was using is a 2/4 channel amp with a selector switch. When the switch was set to 4 channel, only two speakers would work. When set the switch to 2 channel, all the speakers would work.
Now, I'm working on my friend's setup that the amp is a 2/3/4 channel. This amp does not have a selector switch and I'm having the issue that sound is only coming out of two speakers. How will I set the amp for 2 channel to see if that works? Would I have to use only two RCA outputs from the amp and use a Y adapter?
You could do that but make sure you're splitting left/right instead of front/rear. However you should be able to get the same option, just go to the website for the motherboard that you purchased and download the drivers from there. Load them and then go into your sound options to see if you can enable any sort of Magic5.1 or any 5.1 at all. The drivers for my motherboard that I posted in this thread will not work for yours.

All speakers worked at the 2 channel option but only two speakers worked with the 4 channel option. This means that the rear speaker output on the computer was not function. All speakers worked with the 2 channel option becasue the amp would just use the one imput and split it to all 4 speakers.
Now, with my current amp the same thing is happening and in order to achieve the output to 4 speakers I will have to split the output from the computer into 4 channels in order for it to work.
Now, I wonder if this is what is going with the other setups that are not working until you switch settings on the amps. You might think that all ouputs on the computer are working but in reality only one output is working and the amp is splitting that one output into the 4 speakers. Hmmm.
Find yourself some headphones and plug them into the line out port on the motherboard, are you getting sound? Good, they're working. Now remove them and plug them into the line in port on the motherboard, are you still getting sound? I bet not. If this is the case, this means your motherboard is only outputting 2 channels of sound so that's all that's getting to your amplifier. And when you switch your amplifier to 4 channel, it's simply taking those 2 channels and splitting them to 4 speakers. So forget all about your wiring and your amp, you need to focus on getting your line in jack on your motherboard to output another 2 channels of sound. To do this, you need do download the latest drivers from their website like I said and play with the software. The only way I can help you is if you post screenshots while you're doing it since I don't have the hardware to test it.

I have had everythign working perfectly as you describrd in the setup.
The only part that doesnt work as I would like it to is the windows tray icon sound volume.
it only affects the front speakers rather than the wave volume which changes the master volume.
I set the front speakers to the volume I desire , then set the rear to the volume I desire then adjust the wave volume for overall volume control.
So is there anyway to change the tray icon to later the wave volume rather than the front speaker volume ?

That's a weird one. Never heard of that before, maybe someone else can help you out. I simply did a write-up of the steps I followed for my setup.

Alright, I solved the issue on the SP13000! It was a driver issue. Now, for some reason when you go into the site for the motherboard type, it gives you a totally different southbridge then if you look on your motherboard. I took my computer out of the car to do some maintenance, looked on the board and compared it to the vinyl codecs. Downloaded the correct one, installed it and rebooted.
Went through the steps mentioned here, but I was still not getting the front speakers option for 5.1. Tested the outputs and I was only getting sound from the front and sub. Double clicked the vinyl icon in the taskbar and selected the each tab and noticed that one tab had an image of all outputs. The fronts and sub were correct but the line in was still at line in. Selecting a check mark to enable 5.1 changed it from line it to the rears. Now I'm getting sound from all ports.
Lesson learned, get the southbridge directly from the motherboard, get the correct vinyl codecs and you should be fine.

Just one little question.
If you do like this. Will the sound be great? or just ok?
I know in my old car I did (not 5.1 tough) just connect 2 line outs fron my mobo. And the sound was pretty low. Not perfect.
I have been thinking of changing the sound card. Is this nessesary?
Thanks
Daniel, Swden

The sound is good, but not perfect. The only issue that I see with this is that the sub still gets voice sound even though I mute the center. I'm going to use my external USB sound card again because it definately sounded better with it then the onboard sound.

as you can see i'm a newbie, then let me ask you something maybe idiot please. doing this procedure will i lose mic and line in entries, i mean it will convert both in to out channels, right? i'll not be able to use a mic if i do it?
is there another way to get rear channels (maybe getting them straight from the mobo jumpers - F_Audio 6&10) w/o losing mic and line in channels?

I agree, sound is not that great
I think i agree with you Maheriano. I have been running this 5.1 config for a bout a year. The flexibility of adjusting sound levels in Centrafuse is great but I think it sounds wierd (for music) The subwoofer does make up some shortcomings but I am gonna go back to single channel and adjust the levels at the amps. I find that once I have everything set up I dont change it too often.
And yes you lose your input output 1/8 jacks with this setup, although there are some unused headers on the motherboard.

I don't notice it too much since the subwoofer provides all the bass but after a year of it, I can notice it's still doing something behind the scenes. But saying that, I've had lots of passengers in the car and nobody else has noticed it so maybe I'm just picky. But I can guarantee you it's not as good as a regular CD player unless you find some way to preamp it.
