RFID is a low power transmission system. 100mm is really the range you should be getting. You can get larger range with much much larger systems. Think about the theft deterrence systems in walmart by the doors and things like that.

The system you linked to outputs 12v. So you can use that as an input to the Fusion Brain if you send it through a voltage divider or you use the 4 channel isolator we sell (although you only need to use 1 channel for this).
