Triple Axis Accelerometer

Thanks for pointing me to the data sheets.

I cant find the pin outs for the accelerometer. I assume P1, P2, and P3 are for each axis, Which side does the red (+) wire go to? Also, what is P4 used for.

Thanks,

Glenda

red/+ goes towards edge of board. P1/P2/P3 are for each axis - it'll respond to gravity, you'll see.

P4 are jumpers to change the sensitivity.

You'll probably want to do some noise filtering. high sample rate + averaging will do.

"P4 are jumpers to change the sensitivity." Anyone have a link to a retailer that sells these jumpers? - they did not come with my accelerometer.

Any 0.1" jumper will fit. They are the standard jumpers found on the backs of harddrives, CD/DVD drives, pretty much anything. You can buy them lots of places. If you are in the US, then Mouser/DigiKey/Jameco all sell this stuff.

If you bought it from us, and it looks like the picture, then yes.

Hehe, well I just want to be sure after the relay debacle. Have you considered putting links to to appropriate docs on each oscommerce description page for the products so they are easy to reference? That way if you get a different model/version of a product each will have a reference to the right docs for it.
