How about non-gui users? What's the conversion formula? To be clear, I am using the excellent FB driver by malcolm2073 on linux.

I believe I have a MCP9701A and the datasheet says it outputs 200mV to 3V for the temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. It goes on to say it outputs 19.5mV/°C and 400mV is 0°C.

But what I am getting are negative integer values from the FB. It is probably 60-70 in here and I'm seeing -70 to -80.

BTW I have similar questions for the Photosensor. The datasheet is not currently available but I'm getting what looks like 0 for darkness and 20 for room lighting. Not sure what the actual range and values should be though.

thanks,
charles

It's not hard to figure out from the files included...

Temp = (((x-0.4) * 1000) / 19.53)

Thanks

This from the MDX stuff? I'm not a windows user so haven't looked at any of it. Only the FB4 Manual in pdf and the device docs you link to. I think it would be nice you provided some basic plain text (or portable) documentation on each of the sensors you sell. Just the basics like the pinouts, voltages it takes, voltages output and how to translate the values you get from the FB like the Temp = (((x-0.4) * 1000) / 19.53) above.
