I just recently purchased a Fusion Brain and can't wait to get. Thanks for putting on the Pre-Turkey Day sale!

I second. I would be interested in Humidity.

A quick and easy way to get started with the Fusion Brain is to use the test software located here. With this program you can see the inputs/outputs working within minutes. You can use this to make sure your Brain, sensors and output are working correctly. When your comfortable you can then jump into using MDX.

I've used the FBDemo software and it works fine. I recently got a new/repaired brain. When I hooked it up, it didn't work, so I read the forums. It looks like there was a software upgrade, so I installed the latest MDX software. That still didn't work. I used the wizard to create a new config file and that does not work. Maybe I got another bad board? Who knows. But I've decided to abandon this project. I will get a different board to use.

If your Fusion Brain works with the FBDemo software, then your board isn't faulty. It looks like you may have another issue. From my experience, when upgrading new software I always uninstall/remove the old drivers in "Device Manager" in windows and then install the latest ones.

If you give some more detail of your problem, I'm sure the FB guys will help you ASAP.

The infrared sensor will work with the FB with just 2 capacitors and a resistor, but we don't have any plans ot mass-produce kits, as it doesn't seem like there's enough demand.

Do you guys have account's on a home automation (or the like) forum? I am looking to use the FB on several IO's for my new house and thought before asking the questions here, I'd find out if you guys are on a different forum...

You can try CocoonTech and there's a topic for HA on AVS.

I was going to use the FB for HA things, like temperature control and sensing when garage doors were open and automatically close them, but I had problems with the board and never really got it working, so I abandoned my projects.

Good luck.

I was never able to get the digital inputs working.
A bunch of the analog inputs were giving false readings. I was mainly using temperature sensors. Some ports would show readings that would swing tens of degrees over a few seconds. Other ports the temperature was off by a large number, e.g. room temp would be around 70, but reading would be 40-50.
I gave some other examples before. search on my username.
