Outside Temperature sensor

Can the Thermometer sensor just act as a temperature sensor is mounted outside the car?? And used in RR to display the readings? Thanks

Yes and yes... i have a temp sensor that is sitting underneath thes pare tire in my car. I drilled thru the metal and epoxied the sensor and it still gets fairly accurate readings. RR can display the data via RRFusion or MDX's COM link.
