1) h3rk mentioned this too. Areyou by chance using an AMD processor or HP computer?

2) That is because it was broken before. If you want a toggle button, you just have to set the upclick to be the opposite of what the downclick is. If you run the wizard, and select toggle button it will do all this for you and you can copy the code into your skin.

3) I can do a notice. Sorry about that. It shouldnt erase the directory, just overwrite things with the same name. I think the easiest is just make a "MySkin" directory and place your content in there or just name the content folder to "MySkin Content" or similar. Then MDX will never touch it.

I am trying to figure out what causes #1. Are you absolutely sure you got rid of the old drivers?

hi agn

i am not near that laptop now but no it's not a HP it is a cheap Fujitsu Siemens, i am almost sure its on Intel.

as for drivers, yes i unistall and delete all the old drivers and then rebbot but, i have to mention that, before install the new ones i could see in Device Manager a direcory "Other Devices" with a Fusion Brain inside, u can remove it but not "delete drivers". So i unplug the FB and it go away.

It is like when you close the skin you also close the USB link with the FB.

As for the buttons the sad thing is that i dont need toggle buttons. The oposite is the problem. I can not make a stable ON/OFF button. I will play with the wizard tommorow in case i did something wrong.

thanks, Panos.

For on off all you do is make the down vote a toggle. That is it, no uplick vote.

Start a new thread and post your code for 1 button.

I'm not crazy!!!

I've tried it over and over and it still loses communication on my laptop. The drivers seem ok in Devmgr but the software wont talk to the brain after running, closing, and restarting MDX. I did eventually get it to work on my carpc, but I had to be unusually persistant with unistalling previous drivers.

I have two or three more PCs to try this on, but I'm still in the process of moving, so I'll do more trials with this problem when I can (next week, probably).

I am available for testing any possible fixes or troubleshooting on my laptop, if reproducing the issue isn't possible.
