INSTALL_GDIPLUS.DLL_frodoplayer needs GDIPLUS.DLL to start
Didn't find this one with a search: Just installed Take3 into virgin dir, got error with missing gdiplus.dll so I copied it in from the old installation, copied two skin folders in. When I went to options1 and hit any scroll bar on the right pane, I got:
"Run time error 340. Control element 10 doesn't exist."
Also, since upgrading to take3, "show menu at start" doesn't.

I'm sure you're right, it probably was GDIPLUS.DLL. But what does 'it's part of .NET' mean? i'm sorry, but i'm soo lost right now.

You .NET Framework, did you download it?
Here; http://msdn.microsoft.com/netframewo...s/default.aspx
EDIT: Maybe you don't, I didn't see it in the list.
Download and install it anyway....until/unless you get a better answer.

Still getting the same error message

I'm a different poster, but I have the same problem as the original poster. (Don't know if his problem was ever resolved...) I do have .NET downloaded and the only GDIplus downloads I'm able to locate on microsoft.com are related to Visio or Office. Here's the exact error message.
Would appreciate any assistance on this problem.

I fixed the problem! I searched my hard drive and found it in an unrelated area. So I copied the file and placed it where Frodoplayer was seeking it first! With that done, the error code is eliminated!
Looks great so far!

Could this be added to the FP Faq sticky?
I ran into it tonight with 98se. Not a big deal, but it set me back 20 minutes while I researched....
Thanks!

You might also find it on your own hard drive - I did. Frodoplayer simply wasn't pointed to the location my file was stored.
