AutoMute
Ok. This is for those people who are tired of SAPI unmuting the MIC. We don't need feedback!
So I made AutoMute. It obviously uses FrodoComm, so that's a requirement.
Just run it, and it will be invisible. Now umute the MIC and it will mute it back
Download
Donations welcome to both the creator of this program and Frodo

You need to launch the frodo service launcher and enable the volume stuff.

I don't know. It works on my machine.
I guess you could restart the computer and start the services host ("C:\Program Files\FrodoSuite\FrodoComm Services Host\ServicesHost.exe") and THEN start automute.

Okay got FroDo stuff installed and rebooted. I then start the service, then start the automute program.. and nothing happens. XM still has a high pitched squeal when I try to play it.
What's odd is when I click reboot or shutdown it says "ending task auto mute" like it hung and I have to click end task.
Thoughts?

Unfortunately that is exactly what i got too... I ended up using an external usb sound card. tho old card has the mic, the new one has the sound output so no more loopback! and my external card is an audigy so i also have better sound!

I have a nice sound card that the line in is going to, but my mic is USB, completely seperate, and I get feedback.
The odd thing is when I open the services host it doesn't show any services loaded like automute.. it's like automute doesn't launch and just hangs or something. And yes I have frodoservice running before i run auto mute
Hopefully when boris returns we'll get a fix.

You need to have FrodoComm installed, and the services initialized before launching automute.
