This has been in the works for FP for a while if I am correct in my thinking.

The skin doesn't work. I changed the frodoplayer.ini file and the screen just stays white.

From what I remembered it was announced for ME first, by p2k, and everyone jumped on it... since then it has been ported to FP, and I thought it was being ported to RR (there is a post there!)

I think it applies to all the screens explicitly made for FP.
IE, all screens besides the main menu.

Phenominal!
Thank you to all who's hard work went into this. This is by far the most refined skin I have used/seen.
Some minor criticism if you're looking for feedback.
The orange font used to display the title of the current track at the top of the screen is hard to read in the sunlight, matching the clock text would be much nicer on the eyes. I know I can change this in the skin.ini but just a thought.
The button graphic used on the XM skin for the signal meter does not mesh well. Personally I would just eliminate the button and let the background flow but keep the nice satellite graphic. Once again, something I can do myself but just a thought.
That's it, otherwise perfect IMO! This one is on my carputer for a LONG time to come unless of course you make other changes
......and if you were not looking for an opinion, just tell me to go pound sand

I don't understand what the major malfunction is. This skin was designed for frodoplayer not any other front end. Of course you can try to use the images provided with another front end and write the skin files in that front ends format but it would be pretty useless without the PSD files becasue things will be different... For example RR doesn;t have a quicklaunch GPS button nor does it have two fields for sorting your MP3s

There is an effort already to port the original skin idea (intended for Media engine by user "p2k" if I recall) to RR... However the user posting that his company had full rights on this skin made me wonder if they could have it on the "design" or only on the skin for FP itself...
What do you mean GPS quicklaunch... do you mean a GPS button from the audio-player? we can call any application/frontend section from any section... basically all (or at least the vast majority) of commands work on any screen... so anything can be called/displayed anywhere... anyways this isnt about what RR can do in terms of skins...
Well, this skin is enough to make me download frodo once again and try it out cause I didnt adapt to it the first time i used it... I was looking for something that could be used by first-time riders of my car with absolutely no computer knowledge.

Well, first thx for all your comments about the skin. A lot of work went into it so I really appreciate that you like it!!
(@RoyN)
Copyright and port to other FrontEnds:
Intially the skin (only the main menu) was concepted for MediaEngine at a status I didn't know anything about Carputer Frontends. The only frontend I had heard about so far was MediaEngine. As I got more into it I felt it is not the best program available and switched to Frodoplayer.
I liked the idea from yunusyu that I create the graphics and he writes the inis. So thats what happened and I like the result. But(!) up to this point the copyright question is not checked - I didnt receive a mail from yunusyu concerning this.
So, I think I should check this first with yunusyu and then post the result here in the forum to stop the discussion for a minute and continue it after circumstances are cleared.
@Troy McClure
thx for your critic!
I decided to choose the orange to give some contrast and color back in the skin. Probably it could be more shiny (will think about that in an possible update)
You should ask yunusyu about the signal meter. He did that.

I made a double directory. Now I got it is working normally..
The only thing that bothers me is that the volume level doesnt't fit in its window.
