Is it possible to get the PSD of the main menu, or get an 800x600 version? The skin looks sweet, thanks man.

I agree - VERY nice skin. I would also like an 800x600 version and would like to be able to put my own logo on the Menu ... a PSD of the menu would be best as I replace several items with direct links to external programs instead. I don't use DVD/XM/etc and replace those menu items to call Clock and other externals.

BTW...why no STOP icon on music/video playback?

man that is sweeeet!!! Eventhough i dont have everything yet, I was looking at different frontends...I was thinking of using roadrunner or centrafuse, BUT now i think i have my mind made up!

I really like the easy maneuverability and the first menu, but when i go to it, it switches back to the audio playlist screen, i couldnt find a way to stay at that screen?

I love the skin, it's awesome

my only problem is the same as Erwin with the volume not fitting

and the other thing I noticed was the xm signal bars are not lined up.

but other than that it's perfect

Looks fine running 800x600 on my screen.

I would like to download the PSD files if that is possible. I would like to modify it to have more blue in it. I will post it when i am done

I have issues with the mode arrows, the back arrow specifically and also the modes themselves. I can rarely click back because it just stays on whatever mode it is in like artist, or all music, or playlist, etc. I see the button go down but nothing happens and this works with other skins. The other thing is the text is messed up sometimes like playlist will read "pla" or just "list" or "favo" for favorites. the words get cut off.

And the volume not fitting as well. It's always at 100 and no decimals but still too big.

The modes going backward doesnt' have anything to do with the skin itself, its a known issue with frodoplayer. As far it cutting them off, change the size of the button in the ini file to end at the end of the arrow or at the beggining.

I put it on mine, and it stretched it way too much. The main menu at least. When it has a circle in the middle, it turns it into an oval and jacks up the little graphics on mine. Id rather just add a black bar at the bottom, but I would have to change all the freakin ini files to get everything working.

Hey everyone, sorry I been busy, and have not even had a chance to check mail...we had 3 showcars set up this week, for shows in Houston, DUB and Japan.

I will look at XM skin about the bars, and the back button.

Copyrights are currently for P2k and me, and we have to work more on them. Not to be anal about it, but this is one of the skins closely matched for the commercial use...so thats why there is talk about this (otherwise i would not give half a rats ***)

@Erwin : The reason why your volume #s dont fiut is becasue I didnt think having decimals for volume is clean, change the volume to Whole numbers, then it fits and looks better.

The stop button is not there becasue realistically the pause button almost does the same. The rest of the buttons have more space to satisfy even the fattiest of the fingers. I think stop buttons are outdated as the tape player.

Um ... I have to run, the 06 mustang is not starting...how the f*** are we getting it to vegas?

You think I could an address for them, and an address where the car is going to be at? Thanks man, and good luck. If you want an 800x600 version, let me know and I can pop one out in a day, I really don't do anything else. You would think I would just make me one by now. There are alot of 8 and 10 inchers out there, alot of people like that size.

The following is stated in the interest of discussion, not antagonistic...

I have a slight problem with copyrighting the skin and "protection" of it.

The "look and feel" of the skin was posted for general use and discussion originally. In my opinion it was originally posted as "open source". Now it is considered "closed source" because someone like the look and feel and doesn't wan't anybody to steal it.

Furthermore, if you stand to "profit" from the "look and feel", I hope the originator of the concept is getting paid for it.

We all try out the different skins and see what we like and what we don't. I could understand if we were all here looking for sources to go market our products, but I believe most of us are here to learn, and tinker.

My problem is the precedent of limitations. I can undertand protecting the source of the program itself. I can understand protecting the name. I just hope you aren't intending to "protect" the concept of the "interface" itself.

The forum(which I belive this is) is intended to inspire creation and promote ideas and solutions that we all face in our daily thoughts and projects. I hope this continues and I hope we all share what we have done in the interest of solution vs limitation.

I'm not against anyone making money on their ideas, limiting the growth of the hobby is another thing.
