With the applied ExportProvider for FrodoPlayer it'll also make you a INI file with all information you need to run it in FP (hopefully )

thank you for the answer, but i've again some difficult.

This is the procedure I've used:

1. I've installed PhoneCtl
2. I've extracted the Vdesigner.zip files into "...\PhoneControl.NET" directory
3. I've registered the VDFrodoPlayer.dll
4. I've launched the PhoneCtlDesigner in this way "PhoneCtlDesigner.exe -Other=FrodoPlayer"
5. I've designed my skin
6. I've saved my project into a "myskin.xml" file
7. I've used the "Export skin" function
8. Into "VisualDesigner Export" form I've choosed
provider: FrodoPlayer
picture format: jpg
9. The created files were:
myskin_down.jpg
myskin_empty.jpg
myskin_on.jpg
myskin_off.jpg
myskin.xml

In this way no .ini files were produced, can you help me to solve the problem?

bye,

luigi.

So far, you did everything right.
There is one setting you might have not done yet:
If you select (click) the background, you'll see a AdditionalInfo in the property grid.
Click the [...] button and add the following:
Section=Main
Autor="--you--"
Created= -- date --

If this is still not producing the myskin.ini, please let me know.

No one's laughing at you.

Open a new command line window on T:\Programme\PhoneControl.NET then enter
regsvr32 VDFrodoPlayer.dll

There's no way yet to convert a INI into the VD format. If you want to edit an existing skin, you have to remake it using the original background picture files.
For the main screen you could use the XML file I've created for testing.

Hi,

Thank you,

but I donīt know how to open a new command line in T:\..., I think I donīt understand what you mean.
Another problem is that your XML-file is for RoadRunner, so I donīt have the commands for FrodoPlayer. When I use the XML for PhoneControl I have not all commands, for example GPS!

Copy the attached batch file into the installation directory, remove the ".txt" from the filename and execute it (by doubleclick).

There is a special Xml file for FP too... take another look into the thread.
Attached Files
File Type: txt register.cmd.txt (28 Bytes, 161 views)

@Zorro

Thanks a lot for the .cmd !!!! It runs perfect. Is it necessary to run the .cmd every time, when i want to work with VDesigner?

I think Iīm blind. I downloaded the Skin ( http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/show...629#post468629 )but I canīt find all commands for Frodoplayer (for example GPS)

Greetings from Germany

No, you don't need to register it anymore.

I didn't implement all commands. Simply add them as needed or ask for someone who already did it.

Can I use this to skin MapMonkey? (I want to change the OSK)

If I can use this, which files/programs do I need? I allready have downloaded PhoneCtlsetup1.4.6.zip but I can't find the VD update. It's supposed to be here: http://phoco.net/tmp/__Bin/VDesigner.zip but it says page not found.

You can do this to make the graphics. But there is no ExportProvider yet that would let you make the skin.ini automatically.

VD is part of the PhoCo setup. So it's not longer available standalone (because it needs some components to be installed).
If you install PhoCo, you'll have it.
