Skin idea...

I recently got the opportunity to check out an Audi A8L upclose and the first thing that I noticed was the cleanliness of the onscreen interface. It got me thinking how awesome the same thing would look in my car. I've skinned FP before and it's not that hard, but I'm not the greatest with Photoshop....is there anyone out there that would have the time to tackle this? Even if someone just made the main interface I could take it from there. I would also like to make it available in different colors, etc....ideas?

I agree on the layout of the Audi MMI. It is really sleek. It's simple, clear and yet has style.

But you might have to consider that the MMI is designed in combination with Audi's controls. I mean: a touchscreen interface requires a different type of handling then a regular screen in combination with a series of buttons.

ya...obviously it's not going to work/look exactly like the audi MMI but even if we were just able to get something close I think it would be an improvement.

I've asked a buddy of mine to take a stab at it...he's a graphic artist and should be able to whip out the general layout in a hurry...lets see what happens.
