skinning problems, cant figure out a couple of things

okay i have a couple of questions

1. Can I change the format of the date from "5/55/2055" to "June 55, 2055"?

2. Okay this kinda of a long question: okay since the menu is 800x442 and overlapping the background leaving a little strip of the background showing can buttons be pressed on the background if the menu is up? If i put a button on the background will I be able to press the button when the menu is up? (same question twice, i dont know???)

3.This is about visualization in fullscreen: Okay right now when i go into fullscreen mode with a visualization on the bottom 1/3rd or forth is cut off. I using code from a skin i got here, Is the coding for the size of the visualization in the fullscreen something i would need to change? if so where can i change it?

1) No, that I know of

2) Good question, but I think the answer might be No, because the focus of the app on now on the main menu not the background.

3) I don't see any way of editing the size of the visualizations in full screen.

for the rail:
can you put an image instead of a background color?

and the duration: right now it shows the hour minute and sec. when i try and cut off the hours only the right side is cut off(secs.) how do i cut off from the left and not the right? i want to get rid of the hours and keep the secs.<-this is only for the music app thingy.

1) no.

2) you can't cut off the left side. The values for the time tell where it's left start point is and where it top starting point is. The you tell it how wide and long. so there is no way of removing the hours.

btw: it doesn't look like I'm telling you anythink positive. hope everything else is going good. How about posting a preview shot of the skin.

that looks really good. Why don't you set the rail color to so a blue that closely matches the background so that it doesn't stick out too much.

yeah i was thinking that. i really like how the white one was, didnt plan it that way just how it was. im thinking of either doing the white or blue and making the thing behind the rail match the rail.

or you could put a border where ther rails would be so that way they don't look out of place. That way they don't have to be blue.

on the acutal jpg, make a border where you would place the rail. so if you were looking at the background in photoshop or whatever you would know where the rail would be because it would have the border or it. hope that helps.
