I am currently working on a skin for in my VW Passat '97 (for all you Americans this is the B5 or '98 model)

My previous car, an Audi 80, had a redish backlight for the dash. So it was time for a skin change. So I started working on the following skin:

Here are some pics of the night version.
The day version is still in progress.

Notes:
I am currently using the skin, so it is not just photoshop model for a skin. But do remind that the skin is not fully done.
I have used the ASTRID skin to begin with, so all screens that are not done yet use the ASTRID layout and looks.

Remarks :
- The DVD part has not yet been done
- XM / FM radio are not done. Are not going to be done, unless there is real demand for it.

Being located in Belgium myself, we use the AZERTY keyboard layout. All my skins use them.
Being limited in time, I have not been able to make a QWERTY version myself. One of the fans did for the Red n Orange night skin.

XM - supplement Comment:
Because I do not have XM-radio, I have not made that part of the skin yet.

I know the keyboard layout is weird, but we use here in Belgium an AZERTY layout instead of the QWERTY
- Search by
- Playlist (I will be altering the sliders, due to the fact that Frodo uses the same slider for the trackbar as in the playlisteditor, I was not able to set a different slider in the playlist editor)

Dude! That skin is awesome! That's gotta be one of the coolest I've seen. When do you plan on releasing it?

What you see is already working, so this part I can already release. My only problem is finding a place to host it. I can not use FTP for upload, a bug in WinXP does not allow me to use FTP while Internet Connection Sharing is enabled.

So if someone knows a place to host the files and where I can upload the files without using FTP, I'll release it.

Well I kinda had thought that eventually that request would come.

First I am going to complete the current skin. Some screens have not been done completely.

I will try to do a blue version, but I would need some info then. Would it be possible to provide some RGB-values.

Foreground color : (used for all texts, normal glows, ... - in my case it was green)

Selected color : (used for all selected items - in my case orange)
R :

B :

In my case the backlight of my dash is green and when the buttons in my dash are pressed they light up orange. Rather nice effect at night if all colors match nicely.

I have changed a few things on the skin.

- Updated the slider for the MusicPlayer
- So the Playlist Slider has been updated as well (it's the same)
- Created the Playlist Load screen
- Created the Playlist Save screen

Note that the ZIP file has not yet been updated with these changes.
Because Thanatos is hosting them for me I'll try to bother not to often to update the ZIP-file. If I have made a number of significant changes I send him the updated version. Also I will post that the ZIP-file has been updated.
