I am finally getting around to trying this, but having problems. I setup the camalert stuff and didn't get warnings for redlightcams. so I added a "say" command in the exectbl.ini before the camalert menu. That was interesting, I didn't realize the flashing menu also meant the say statement repeated that many times, too, - Its still talking well past the Cam.
For highway speedtraps is there a way to get an earlier warning? Not saying I'm speeding but 1000 yards at 80MPH isn't nearly enough warning, yet, its plenty for rural GATSO and redlight cams. I guess I'm asking for user selectable warning distances for the different type Cams.
I also played with GOTOCO and RR Native Gaspricefinder. I replaced the IG Autoit Script with the following:
Code:
"SETVARBYCODE;GASSLON;gas_$StatNum$_lon||SETVARBYCODE;GASSLAT;gas_$StatNum$_lat||GPS||SENDMSG;FreeDrive;GOTOCO:$gasSlon$:$gasSlat$"
I should have known that was too simple, but after a few iterations I got it to work.
Bring on the movietimes!

Well you can change the overall distance of the warning in the ini (under [warning distances]), but there is individual distances for different cameras. (might have a look at that)
I did put in a part where is doubles the warning distance if you are above 60MPH, but not sure if that is working too well, as I seem to get the warning come up early and then it disappears befre coming back up at the normal distance, will have to have another look at that.

Please elaborate on [warnings] section. I see warning0, warning1, and warning2 and they're set to 2, 1, and .5 respectively. But that doesn't seem to affect me cause all my warnings start at 1000 yards. I also thought those were only for alert 1 and 2. (Confused)

Should be a section so.
[warningdistance]
warn1=.4
in the settings.ini of freedrive. The .4 is the distance in miles or kilometers, can't remember which (might actually change according yo units.)
