Are you talking Speed Camera Alerts, Directions, Over Speed alerts or other alerts?

im talking about directions alerts. turn right in 200 meters..... turn left in..... I HATE THAT MY MUSIC STOP AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN for this voices... i miss mapmonkey only for this option, in mapmonkey you can define not alerts of any kind, not music down for say voice alerts, and not put visual alerts for say directions.

Are any option for quit voice and visual alerts for directions in freedrive? PLESE I NEED HELP

Yes and No.

Obviously the option is available in the Destinator 3 engine as MapMonkey has this option, however there is no section in the current FreeDrive code.

However in the next release of my own Personal Edition there will be an option to turn the voice alerts off.

When will it get released? I am not sure yet, I want to add some other things first, including the ability to have the music volume reduce at and around saved GPS locations (ie Home, work etc).

Thanks for the info.... i need back to my old mapmonkey... is a little buggy and not like ver much in many things but have more options that i need.

And please put this 2 options in your program, turn off voice directions, turn off visual alerts, and please...... PLEASE is important:

is uggly UGGLY is a **** the volume reduce when voice directions are speaking, imagine you are in your car with your friends to a party and you are ear a really good song in your super sound system at 100% of volumen... and the car say reduce your volumen for say: turn righ in 200 meters at 100% of volumen, your friends say: WOW IS AMAZING,,, but in 30 seg more again reduce the music of your song and speak again... and again... and again.. and again.......... IS CRAZY. at last your friends finish say you: WHAT A ****!! and you cant ear your favorite song for this option. Or if you think put this option, at last let the user choose if want reduce volumen when directions say, or not.

The best idea is let gps say directions but not reduce the song volumen, mapmonkey have this option and its good.

The bad of visual alerts is this: you can see in your screen where are the final destination, you know that you need go to north, but you know that your gps is wrong, or you want go for other streets not your gps streets, and for say all time visual alerts you cant see the map for see again and again and again visual alerts.

Thank you and i hope you can release your new navigation program, and ear my other wish for your navitation program:

in mapmonkey you can start to move the map with your finger anytime, but in freedrive you first need push a little buton in the upper left of the screen, and after this need push the red car for start to move your map, when finish of move the map you need turn again the little button in the uper left of the screen....... IS TERRIBLE!!
is better that you can move the map in any time.

Freedrive is very good program with no bugs, but are little more complicated and with less option than mapmonkey, the problem now with mapmonkey is that is very buggy program

As I said the visual and audio alerts off/on will be in my new version.

The reduction of winamps volume is already controlable, if your settings.ini does not already have the following, add it and make the changes you want

[winamp volume]
#decreases volume to %
decreaseto=20
#decrease for amount of time in seconds
decreasefor=3

ie in your case make

decreaseto=100

decreasefor=1

As for the map moving i'm not sure if i'll make any changes to that as I don't use that feature, but if I get what I want working I may look at making extra options for it.
