Thumbs up RELEASE - FreeDrive 0.32 beta (D3 Frontend)

I think I have cleaned up all the bugs that have been mentioned and i'm crossing my fingers that I can now move on and start adding extra stuff. Whats been fixed / added in this release :-

Grab it HERE

New in this version (0.32)
- Fixed overflow issue on bigmaps
- Fixed disappearing menus (again)
- Fixed error when changing skin
- Added imperial / metric button
- Added Fading menus
- Improved Speed / Sat Calculation

Roll on version 0.4 thats what I say :-)

The location settings bug is sort of fixed
Freedrive will launch, but the destinator window is not aligned.

With UK as location and "standard and formats" it all works just fine.

Would be nice if the menu would fade away automatically if no "key" have been pressed for ~10-15 seconds or so...

kewl.. thanks for the feedback, will get all this fixed tomorrow, just tried it. I'm not getting the map moving, but I am getting missalignment of the menu buttons. I think I know whats causing this. I will do a update tomorrow.. 0.321 maybe :-) I will also add a 5 second timer, which will remove the menu on timeout :-)

thanks for the idea

hey cdrskull... what kinda support do u have for voice navigation (women telling u where to go)? is it similar to map monkey's? I am thinking of moving over to your app... also, do you have embedded support with roadrunner working well now? thanks

Course it's similar to map monkey, I'll give you a clue...

map monkey = front end to Destinator
free drive = front end to Destinator

Spot the common denominator!

The 'menu fade away' idea is good! I like.

ok, i've uploaded FD again, I have removed the fading buttons and tested it and everything seems ok, I have just tried embedding it into mediacar and it works no probs :-) I have left a message for RR, fingers crossed his next release will include freedrive compatability :-) This will be the last release for a week or so, want to start on advancing it now. I think all reported bugs are now out of the way..

have a play and let me know.. I've called it the same version, but made the installer more aggressive now, so you shouldnt have any prob's

i tried your latest 0.32 beta and i noticed the menu fades very slowly.... has that been updated? when i hit the menu button, it would be nice if it could come up instantly once again.....

cant wait for RR support!
