yep done that :-), should of fixed the fav bug you mentioned also.. I need to have a drive around and test it yet mind you :-)

CDR, but then would this mean I get no "popup directions" and no "next maneuver" bar that only appears when indeed there is a next maneuver???

I would need to have a dedicated next maneuver area in the skin for it to work? I'm not sure this makes sense for many users... In my case at least I'm only getting directions once a week on average...

BUG REPORT: I noticed today trying to get some directions that in the middle of the guiding process apparently at random, free drive completely quits... I can re-launch it with no probs, and no errors are displayed but it is really annoying as I need to re-find the correct destination and have it start guiding me again...

PS: can we have a preview version that fixes the wrong address issue if thats already in there?

if its too much hassle at this point I can always wait of course

I often get carried away.... Its weird that its only happened when discussing FD or NMC... I guess it is the 2 that I see most future for, hence my interest in packing the largest possible punch in them!

(albeit I dont deny my tyrannical and egocentric intentions to have the best software for my personal use, but as a consequence I guess new features benefit the userbase in general nso its all good!

)

ok update.. speedcams are half done. looking good. got afew bits to sort out, and the skin to finish. had couple more ideas I also want to try out. just have to wait that little bit longer. Big thanks goes to AUSMARK as hes doing the calcs for the cams.. freedrive source files are flying round the world as I type.

ok.. speedcams are finished.. (just a couple of sdk commands to add) I have been out for a quick drive, added a couple of cams to a road and then driven past them to check the alert works fine, and stops once past. The verison that i'm release wont work with any previous versions of FD, I have changed the way the colours are held in the skins to hex values, which is alot easier to edit I think. Lots of other updates and fixs have been included like a new map dialog. I have also made a start on a new freedrive website.. freedrive will still be free but i'm going to be asking that those that wish to use it be a member of the freedrive site, you will benefit two ways form this.. update emails when new versions are released and online tracking when this is introduced in a week or two. Of course all of this will be free. I will also be including a donations button just incase you like the software and feel like sending me some pennys to pay for the hosting of the site and a few beers for me ;-)

anyway keep watching and expect a release either later tonight or tomorrow
