Is there a Problem under resume from Hibernate?

I am not sure if this is a bug or not, but I am having a Problem when Resuming from Hibernate using Freedrive embedded in RR.

It works awesome, until I Hibernate. Then when it comes back from Hibernating, even after waiting for 5 minutes, it never refreshes any data or the maps. I then click the Exit button on the FD menu, and then go back to Road Runner. I then Open Freedrive back up and it works perfect, until I hibernate again.

Thanks for such a great piece of software.

Bryan

I am having the same problem and once I return from Hibernation the nice FreeDrive lady teells me 'GPS not found'.

I tried manually un/re-plugging the GPS but it does not seem to solve them problem. Oh and yes, it is a USB one.

Hope you guys can help. Besides that and a lil PhoCo trouble I am 95% finished (at least for now )

Yes,
I have a USB GPS Unit, but it works perfect after about 30 seconds after coming out of Hibernate with Map Monkey. This is why I tried waiting up to 5 minutes to see if it would work, and it never comes back until I Exit FD and then reopen it.

Hope this helps.

Also, hope that all is well for the people over in the UK, I know this is now a hard time after the attacks. Know that our thoughts and prayers are with your country in this time of grief.

Hi Bryan.. I will defo have a look at this for you tonight.. and if you dont mind I should have a test .exe for you later.

As for whats going on in London at the moment.. yeah its not unexpected to be honest, I also agree with you and say my thoughts are with those injured and effected by the attack.

ok, would you mind testing the below exe for me..

http://www.x-digital.addr.com/FreeDrive.exe

it also includes all the fixs I've been doing and will be classed as 0.81 update. Things u need to look out for are eta/etr errors and hibernation fix, I have also changed a couple of bits and bobs.. but they shouldnt really effect anything

cheers

Hey CDR,
Thanks for the File. Sorry I missed this last night, I just got a chance to take a look today. I will take it to my car when I leave from work and put it in and see what happens. I apreciate all the hard work. I would have gotten to it sooner, but the new baby needed some attention last night, so thats where my time went.

Thanks for such a great piece of software.

Hey CDR,
I downloaded and tried this file. The Hibernate is now working, the ETA is also updating, but the ETR is not updating still. Also the Total Distance Remaining is still not working correctly. So the ETA is updating correctly as the computers Time changes, but not adding the correct amount of ETR minutes to it. So this still has a problem with ETR and Total Distance, hope this makes since.

Thanks for all the updates and the great software. Once these two minor things are working, I think it is pretty rock solid now.
