Thanxs for testing mate!
I found out that after conversion (ov2 to dat) that I couldn't see them in my poi's list. am I doing someting wrong??
Works easy, but I would like some extra features.
Currrently using TomTom (phone) and FreeDrive (car).
They made a nice program (poi edit) to download/synchronize poi's.
Is it possible to import them and convert them to destinator @ once?
Of course it has to copy the .bmp files also!
keep up the good work!
Martijn

Ok no prob!
Bmp copy will be implemented for sure in the next version (I forgot it).
After manual conversion (open, then save) you MUST see them in the list. With batch conversion, nothing appears.
Download may be possible if I find some good sources... does anyone know them?

Hello garo,
Great interface but i have problems with your soft.
OV2 ==> DAT is OK like previous version anc can really be visualised with Destinator (Freedrive)
Menu File Append don't work : replace file but don't add.
DAT ==> OV2 or CSV : can only open a Dat created with your soft.
CSV ==> : standard format incompatible with your soft.
so, if your soft can create with OV2 a dat for Destinator, it seems not to be in standard format.
Destinator 3 is sold with an appl named "Console" that can create Pois from CSV File.
Here a file accepted by Destinator Console :
326 N10 Angoulème -> Bordeaux,radar num,-0.09113,45.52209
here a file product with your convertor (don't like french accents : é==>j)
-0.09113,45.52209,326 N10 Angouljme -> Bordeaux,radar num

For the moment, you can't, because FD still doesn't support any extra poi... Beg togheter CdrSkull for implementing it
However, I'll try to "reverse engineer" D3 map pois, but this should be hard...

You're right... I never tried to use dats produced by console! It seems that there are many different DAT formats in D3, so I'm fixing it. I'll release new version today!

well external poi's would be an ok feature but it wouldn't show u how close it is and thats the best example of using a poi database.

It creates file compatible with destinator, so you can use it both with freedrive and mapmonkey. However, only MM has a support for extra POI.
