Sorry to get everyone's hopes up. I was working on a deal to be funded to continue development on Freeway, starting fresh with a VLC player backbone, but things fell through, unfortunately. So no news here

Too bad, VLC would be an awesome backend starting point.

I would love to see a new C based frontend
