not exactly sure. i had to go and before boot up, press F8 for the Safe mode boot screen, there was a line that said start in VGA mode so I did it and it worked. Yeah!!

1 Using some skins, if you double click at the same spot at certain areas, the keyboard will appear. (It doesnt ask Album, Title or Artist). Why would the keyboard appear? How do I turn this off?

2 Can we have the keyboard appear when trying to type in a new playlist name?

3 The song Forward >> and Reverse << buttons seldom gets used. Can we map this button to another function?

1: You have found Jump Mode. Jump mode searches IN you PLAYLIST, allowing you to jump around. (It does not use the DB, only the current Playlist)

2. Not Yet.

3. No. But in 1.09 you can leave them off and just use the next and previous
buttons only if you want, they will have dual functions.

Thanks Frodo. How do I turn jump mode off? Is it customizable via the .ini files? Can I set it off screen?

You can't. Double Clicking on any unused area of the screen will bring it up.

Okay. Will we be able to turn this off in future versions (1.09)?
You see, sometimes while driving (especially in a jam) and trying to hit the scrollbar, you accidentally double clicked on that tiny unused area and the keyboard comes up and its very distracting.

Also, there's a number 4. At times, (especially when using the keyboard the first time after hibernation) when you click a letter on the keyboard, it takes a while for that letter to appear. And during this time, if you click another letter, it will show the first letter twice. To explain, I want to hit Evanescence, so the first time I use the search keyboard after hibernation, I hit "E" and "V", but after about 1 sec it will instead show "EE". After I hit backspace and clear that up everything will be fine.

Turn off supersearch, the query is taking too long.

Frodo, it only happens the first time. When I hit the second letter, it lights up but it doesnt register it, it displays the first letter again.

If I turn off supersearch I lose too much of the frodoplayer features. I think this problem could be fixed by moving some codes before some other, because FP knows the second letter is hit, only it repeats the first one. I dont know, Im only guessing because I dont have the source.

I know this is an old post, but I had a similar problem to this one. When you install WMP9 it comes up with some configuration questions the first time you run it. I was having the same problem, but then I tried running WMP to see if I could run visualizations full screen there, and I got all the config questions. After that, I was able to run full screen visualizations in FP fine (though I can figure out how to exit half way through a song, because I don't have a keyboard readily accessible.

Anyway, hope it help anyone that has this problem.

Frodo,
I searched around but did not find any specifics on my problem. I have been tagging my MP3s with Musicmatch and confirming the tags with Tag&Rename but FP does not always display the album art. I know the image is there and WMP displays the image what am I missing? How would you recommend me tag my library?
