Ok, I'm finally having a problem
Hey guys, I just formatted and reinstalled Win98SE, did all the updates and then installed WMP9. Last up was Frodoplayer. INstalled fine, double clicked on the simian, screen comes up, then no response at all.
FPERRLOG says this:
9/1/04 - 9:31:29 PM - 430 - Class does not support Automation or does not support expected interface - MainModule-MasterListsFillFromQuery - 0 - FrodoPlayer -
9/1/04 - 9:31:29 PM - 91 - Object variable or With block variable not set - MainModule-MasterListsFillFromQuery - 0 - FrodoPlayer -
9/1/04 - 9:31:29 PM - 91 - Object variable or With block variable not set - MainModule-MasterListsFillFromQuery - 0 - FrodoPlayer -
9/1/04 - 9:31:29 PM - 91 - Object variable or With block variable not set - MainModule-MasterListsFillFromQuery - 0 - FrodoPlayer -
What'd I do wrong?
What'd I miss?
Help me Monkey-1-ken obi, you're my only pope

1. Please do that, Frodo
this is EXTREMELY annoying when it comes to remixes:
Instead of: Artist - Title (Someone's Remix)
I get: Artist - Title Someone's Remix
2. Also, ampersands do not appear and make the next character underlined (this IS a bug, probaby need to replace them all with \&)
3. Yet another thing, please make it optional to ALWAYS show the filenames in the filelist, instead of something based on the ID3 tags (I know many people which do not care about ID3 tags but always rename their files to be correct)

3 more things:
1. "Repeat" only works for a single song, and not for the entire list, you better put up a survey, I think that repeat for all the playlist is much more popular (look at players like Winamp etc.)
2. I think that RAIL_BACKCOLOR in skin.ini does not work.
No matter what you set, the background will always be black.
3. Is there any way to set the background of the scrollbar in the file list?

Works fine on my laptop with sp2.
Do you have all the requirements ?
Also try to uninstall and reinstall FP.

I'm running it on 2 computers using SP2 and it works fine!
If you don't want to lose your settings, you could try installing Frodo on another directory, then copying MediaLib.mdb from the new to the old installation directory, then Synchronize your files again.

I just reinstalled my CarPC with Windows XP SP2 slipstreamed 2 days ago.
I only installed WMP10 and FrodoPlayer 1.06 and 1.08 patch and all windows updates and so far everything is working fine.

When you drag/click the track-position-bar, then while the mouse button is down you go a little bit outside of the boundaries of the bar, then you release the mouse button - it "aborts" the action and does not move the song position at all.
This is kind of annoying as many people use touch screens which are not a very accurate device.
BTW: this does not happen in stop mode, only in play mode.
In Winamp, for example, this is done correctly, and even when going outside of the boundaries, it still moves the song position to the nearest point.

I've noticed it. I just haven't figured out how to fix it yet.
