I've just started using fp, but there is one thing that I have noticed that I think might be a bug. I've been using it in folder mode, and every time I boot up it remembers what song it was playing but it dosn't display the song information in the info box and the file list is empty. Now like I said this may not be a bug, you may have designed it this way but I would love it to show this information on boot up.

BTW thanks for all the hard work

Sticky Keys

Hi,

I was experimenting with the keypresses, and noticed that the vol up and vol down act funny.
I set key q for vol up and key a for vol down, and when I press q the volume goes up till 100% and when I press a it goes down till 0%. The only way I found to stop the volume change was to press mute ( m in my case ).

Anybody notice this ??

Yes I have noticed this two u can stop it by double clicking a or q the first click will start the volume change and the second will stop it but this kind of sucks if you want to like program a button in your car to change volume you would have to press it twice every time. I hope he fixes this in his next release

Haha, it was designed like this for remotes. The idea was, you can press a
button, and it will start going up. Then you press the button again and it
will stop.

In 1.09 I am supporting two versions of volume up/down.

1 will work just as it does.
2 will go up/down 5%

In the meantime, if you want the volume to go up or down, press that
button, then press it again when you want to stop.

Sorry for the confusion

lol,

The player has so many functions that we have to get lost someday..
And damm good functions to, I was experimenting with a Creative PC Remote and I think i tried all the buttons except pressing the same again.
Now that I know the trick, it works great. As far I'm concerned its perfect like it is.

It does cause problems with some people though, so I will support both ways.

Pause when going to next track

Hi frodo,
Not sure if this is a bug or if it is a programmed functionality, however, if it is, is there a way to change the amount of time the player pauses at the end of a track to go to the next one? I have some progressive albums that don't sound so great with a pause. Great program by the way. Love it, I will donate once I get some extra cash this weekend!!

Also..... can i get text scrolling??? If you check out the picture i attached I am sure you will see why, besides, scrolling text with a good font will add much eye candy, while also adding functionality. Do you have source code anywhere? I would be able to do this for you if you wish...

You can turn off advanced screen settings in the settings menu. Or edit the
advanced section of the ini for exact sizing and position.

I was playing with ScreenRes 1.1 when all of a sudden my screen goes blank. Ok no big deal, re-boot. Post comes up, but as soon as windows was going to load...bam... "out of range" blank screen again. Mind you to, this is also NOT on my Lilly it is on my 15" LCD in the house. Ok no biggie, boot up in safe mode and change display settings. Did that and still nothing. What the frizig did I do and how do I fix it?
