More Bug Fixes

Extra Volume Function (Volume Mode 2) which will bring
--volume up or down a user defined %. (.1% - 100%)

Volume Ramp for Volume Mode 1 now user definable. (.1% - 100%)

Volume Update Function moved to it's own timer/routine.
User configurable update rate from every (.1 seconds to 2 seconds)

Volume Button Speed now user configurable. (.01 seconds to .2 seconds)

15 new (OPTIONAL!) buttons added to the skin:

MiniMode now works with DVD.

Finished all the keyboard shortcuts (I think)

frodo will it be possible in 1.09 to have the playing mp3 song info displayed on the main menu -when you go back from thhe mp3 player screen to main menu screen

I hope you are not rendering the software too heavy... remember some people will be running fp on slower machines.

Question - how does the windows communication thinggy works? that is intended with Girder, right?

because as soon as you have girder compatible intercommunication, I will use this as an HTPC as well in the living room

Everythign seams REALLY cool.

question/suggestion: I know you already have password protected config. Can the password protection be used also for going to mini-mode and for closing/shutting down/exiting?
it would be to avoid people from using outside software from the computer. (more embedded-style) Of course, all those could be configurable and most likely have the same password.

Erm... I have a skin ongoing - will I have to change it when you release the new version?
if so, tell me I will delay my skining.

I think if thats what he wants he will request that. I didn't notice if that is what he did. And I think that kind of distorts the reason these forums exist. The free and easy exchange of ideas and technique. where all can contribute. er...off topic....but maybe we should let the author of the thread decide what he wants in it? Anyway, thanks for the update and thanks again for the fantastic software!

Seriously though, I think you're about as anxious as I am. I've been checking back daily and nightly, but I'm trying not to ask the "when" question. I'm sure that Frodo wants it just right, rather than to release something buggy or "mostly done" - especially with all the anticipation.

I'm personally looking forward to seeing XM and Zorro's Phone Control integrated into the same environment as my MP3's, which will really make this an awesome front end!!!
