Not really a bug but a suggestion (since suggestions are closed currently):
I would like to see the default fp 1.09 install directory to be different than 1.08, at least for now when bugs are being worked out, so it doesn't mess up settings etc. and so you can easily switch back to 1.08 if 1.09 starts acting up.

That's a users responsibility, change it when you set it up.

No problems with install...
It appears that the next and previous buttons are reversed in programming. Also, forward and backward function as next and previous.
Rather minor...otherwise nice improvements.

You must have selected ff & rw & next & previous to be the same
button in settings. If you do that, clicking ff & rewind will go next &
previous, but if you hold them down, they ff & rewind.

This one is a carryover from the previous version. While using the search function the on-screen keyboard misreads key presses. This happens any time you press another key before the automatic search is complete. I have ~12000 song in my collection and the first couple of key presses can take a while. A simple fix might be to disable the on-screen keyboard until the autosearch query completes or to disable the autosearch function for the first couple of keystrokes.

The press and hold feature of FP09 can interfere with the latest Lilliput touch drivers that use press and hold to simulate a right mouse click. This is not really a bug but rather just something to be aware of.

That's not a bug. Turn off autosearch in the settings. Then use the
enter button to search.

Checked the .ini file to see if it was trying to use an old skin, but it isn't, so anyone got some ideas?

WhiteWolf

EDIT:
Found the GDIwhatever file and simply copied it into the FPlibrary, then it worked, seems it is only this file it wants to run

Windows XP SP2, all other updates, all your requirements installed...

My biggest want was a good directory listing of my MP3's since that is how mine are organized.

1.0.9 directory "2" looks good... but for some reason when I pick the album (directory) up top,
I am not getting a listing of the files inside the folder? If I go up out of the music
directory and back in then they show up when you click any folder. Any ideas???

Also... Even tho this is the directory structure... are the files still being sorted by the
"tagged" file number or alphabetically like anyone who sorts by directory would do?

I'm getting all these random file numbers and am not sure how they are being sorted. (if its
alphabetically.. then I'll turn off the track numbers and move on... if not... can that be an option??)

good eats Frodo

You need to patch. There is a patch sticky.

I'll look into what's going on and explain or fix.

Maybe a bug or just something overlooked: when you press down on the albums, it does not change the album cover - you have to go to the songs and click on one to change.

Another one: Frodo still displays the VB icon.
