thanks, just found out the hardway that the chaning the 800*480 to 800*600 skin causes a white screen that you cant edit back. Time to reinstall and make sure I delete ALL the original skins and be more carefull...

the reason the screen turns white when trying to load a skin is because FP cant find the skin, nothing to load so thus its all white. You dont have to reinstall FP to fix this.
Just edit frodoplayer.ini and change which skin is loaded and resave the file.
As far as the skin thats not loaded, check that the skin isnt nested in another folder, ie;
My path to this skin is as follows
F:\Program Files\FrodoPlayer1.9_take3\Skins\800x480
in the 800x480 dir you should see a PICS folder and 9 .ini files
If the path was like this
F:\Program Files\FrodoPlayer1.9_take3\Skins\800x480\NewFolder
the above would give a white screen in FP

I noticed there hasnt been an update/bugfix in like 6 months (according to the download post date on frodos site)... I am getting the same feeling I got back when mediacar stopped getting updated...
Please dont let this wonderful peice of software die!
At least integrate the new XM code or something...

And is that a problem??? Frodo same as many developers on here produces his software FREE OF CHARGE! Thats right, he doesn't get any payment for it, he doesn't even have a CarPC yet produces an excellent frontend.
Be assured that Frodo hasn't ceased development, didn't you see the FrodoComm thread yesterday??? FrodoComm is the building blocks of a FrodoPlayer of the future.

Errumm... he doesn't require payment, but like anyone who isn't independantly wealthy, he'll take your money if you offer it. If you've got some, send it to him. Frodo has done a GREAT job building a very useful and stable front end.
 All Hail Frodo!
