WMP Album Art in FP

Ok fodo dude or anyone who knows:

I rip all moi cd's, I hook her to the net media player does its think an hey presto i gots all the songs names album art etc... I go to my music folder and coolio all of the music is arranged in artist/ablum folder with the album cover on the folder.

I go to FP and the album art is missing. It requires that the AA is some .jpg in the relevent folder. OK

So where does media player store all of its album art?? I f you know how comes FP (since its WMP based anyway) dosn't look there too?

anyone?

Unfortunatley FP isn't clever enough to figure out that any image in the album folder is actually the album art... you'll have to rename the images to match whatever name you wish to use (the same for all of 'em however).
Default is "album.jpg", you can set it in "settings 2>> misc3 >> default filename for album art"

Some bright spark here had a command line script to rename all jpgs to 'album.jpg' ...just make sure they're all in the right folders. Do a search for it.

its hidden in each music folder, turn off 'hide protected operating system file' in explorer, and you should see the images... names like this: AlbumArt_{2711E96E-1101-4654-943A-5B0F1798C335}_Large.jpg

yea uncheck hide protected operating system files and check show hidden files

you can just change in frodo setting the name of the .jpg to "folder.jpg"
windows media player names one of its jpgs to that name
So you woundlnt have to rename all the jpg in your libarary
