Hibernation Issues
If I leave this app running when the computer goes into hibernation, the next time I start my vehicle the computer comes up fine. 20 minutes later the computer shuts off but my XMDirect is still powered as audio remains on. The only way to recover is to pull the fuse to the Opus.
I know that this is suppose to be Hibernation aware and could be one of my settings? but the previous XM app built into Frodoplayer never gave me any issues.
I am running a Shuttle Board and Opus 150. I believe my suspend mode in Bios is S3 but I am not 100% sure til I go look at it again. I am also using the XMDirect setup connected via Com2.
Anyone have any ideas?
I need this app!

Here's the hibernation issue i had.
Listening to channel 46, turn of key, computer goes into hibernation
Turn car back on, computer resumes, channel 46 shown on frodo application, then you hear the xm direct come back on, and bam, back to channel 1

Now we're getting somewhere! I'm attempting a new skin and have a couple of notes/questions:
How about PLAYLIST_SELECTCOLOR= and PLAYLIST_SELECTFORECOLOR=
What is PLAYLIST_COLUMN_CORRECTION_FACTOR_PIXELS=20
It'd be nice to have SIGNAL_xxxx_BAR_COLOR= and SIGNAL_xxxx_BACK_COLOR= to be able to customize the signal strength to fit the skins better.
Is there a LABEL_GENRE_xxxxxxxxxx=
What are the options for SIGNAL_xxxx_STYLE=
Any way to hide the column headings from the listing?
One idea I had for implementing the Favorites would be to be able to set up a bunch of them (like XMpcr software does) and select them as you'd select a playlist. In addition to making the interface more similar to the mp3 player, it would allow me to categorize them as I'd like. So I could have one for the wife, one for my morning drivetime, one for party nites, one for news and talk, etc. Just a thought...
Nice job!

I don't have access to that, but I'm working on it.

The list I'm using has columns, that I have to use and can't hide.
This adjusts the box to move them up behind my real columns.
I can't adjust the height of them, and on some computers the
size could possibly be different. This allows you to correct this.

I'm using Windows standard progress bar. When I design my own, we can
change colors.

No.

I think SMOOTH and STANDARD

set column height to 0 for the list.

Out of curiosity, where are you getting power for your XM unit? Frodo isn't having the problem... maybe it's because he's using a constant 12V... and maybe your problem is related to a loss of voltage.
I haven't installed my system yet, but I was perplexed all along by the fact that the XMD1000 has two voltage inputs and we're not keeping one of them live at all times. Anyone care to comment?

R32 JUhl: YES! that makes perfect sense! its just like on a car stereo head unit, one of the 12v lines is live all the time to allow the head unit to retain its memory! i'd be willing to bet $100 that that is the issue. The ihacked cable works fine, but, i bet if we gave the 8 din pin 6 or 7 a constant 12v, the issue would be resolved. we could modify the design to keep a third wire in the molex connector, and just run a constant 12v line to that line!

Well 18 years in the service side of the auto industry should be worth SOMETHING!!
Now for the computer guys - which pin do you suppose it is, 6 or 7? Who can test? I don't have my XMD unit activated yet.

Don't worry with the hardware hacks.
I have been relying on the XM to report the last played channel, but I will
just store it in software and restore it after. Should solve it for everyone
regardless of power issues.

Frodo, please tell me if this makes any sense.
I posted a problem with hibernation and since have been doing some testing and have found a rhyme but the the reason for the problem makes no sense to me.
If I run the new release then shut it down and go into the XM built into Frodoplayer then shut that down and then go back into the new release, that is when I get the hibernation issues.
Since the problem was incosistent I started to poke around and realized that each time I had an issue was when I was showing the system off to someone, flipping in and out of screens so I flipped in and out and bang, re-created it.
Basically, flip flopping between the two is what caused my issue. Not a big deal as I will only ever be using 1 and I am sure the older module will be discontinued anyways.
Thanks,
Troy

WONDERFUL!!! Will that be in Version 2 or is that something easily changed in the existing software?
