For the no channels, did you set the comport ?
And when you activate, you must have the software running
and let it run untill all channels come in.
1. I haven't activated yet, I thought I would get station 1 before I do that.
2. Where do I set the comport? I coudln't find it.

Set the port # in the FrodoSatRadX.ini
You should get channel 0 telling you to activate
edit: no, you're right, channel 1

Well how do I know which com port to set it to?? As of now, I'm getting no sound and no channels. Do i need to activate right now?? I'm sooo confused.
Also, I can't change channels. I have to set my last channel in the INI file. And when it says its on station 1, it says 00:00 to the right and it desont' change.

Did you connect it to the serial port on the back of the pc? If there's only one on the back of the PC, it will be port 1. if there are two on the back of the pc, it could be 1 or 2. if you connected to the header on the motherboard it should be port 2.

There is only one serial port on the back, so I set it to 1, and it still says the channels are updating and no sound is coming out from Channel 1.

Just called XM to inquire about service fees, and I listened to the recording and it is channel 0. However, I'm still not getting any sound coming from the unit. HELLP!!!
Also, just checked the volume controls. I have the EQ enabled, and on my volume playback, I have line in disabled, and on the recording, I have it selected.

Turn off the EQ, unmute the line in, turn up the volumes, and start it again.
Do you hear the unit turn on ?

When I plug the cable in, I hear a little clicking noise, so i think that means the unit is on. I did all of the above, and still, silence.
Code:
[MAIN]
SKIN=BLUEDEFAULT800x480
XMPORT=1
LAST_CHANNEL=20
;Options: TRUE, FALSE
FAVORITE_SHOW_CHANNEL=FALSE
FAVORITE_SHOW_STATION=TRUE
FAVORITE_SHOW_ARTIST=FALSE
FAVORITE_SHOW_TITLE=FALSE
;Options: MASTER, WAVE, CD, LINE
VOLUME_CONTROL=MASTER
;Options: HARDWARE, SOFTWARE, BOTH
MUTE_CONTROL=BOTH
;If MUTE_CONTROL=SOFTWARE or MUTE_CONTROL=BOTH, choose which line to do this action.
;Options: MASTER, WAVE, CD, LINE
MUTE_SOFTWARE_CONTROL=MASTER
;Options: MASTER, WAVE, CD, LINE, NONE
MUTE_LINE_ON_EXIT=NONE
;Options: MASTER, WAVE, CD, LINE, NONE
UNMUTE_LINE_ON_START=NONE
VOLUME_PERCENT_CHANGE=3
ENABLE_EQ=FALSE
[SIZE]
FULLSCREEN=FALSE
MOVELOCKED=FALSE
;In Pixels:
APP_LEFT=0
APP_TOP=0
APP_WIDTH=800
APP_HEIGHT=480
Thats my INI file as of now.

don't plug the xm into your pc, plug it into a separate stereo if you can, just to see if sound's coming out

Hmm.. Yeah, I just reinstalled the program, and all the channels came up, but still buzz on the tv. I dont think the cable is the problem because when I take the cable out, the buzzing goes away!! AHHH!! I'm so frustrated.
