*Release*[SAT RADIO] Alpha 3
Here is Alpha 3 of FrodoSatelliteRadioX.
You need to edit the FrodoSatRadX.ini file before use.
Should be self explanatory.
FrodoSatelliteRadioXAlpha3.exe
Notes!
To use the eq, you must have the XM unit audi run through your
computer through something like line in.
---Also, make sure you set your windows mixer record settings to
---the proper line before launch...if it's set to wave or master..
---get ready for FEEDBACK !!!
If you are using the EQ, leave the playback line of the selected
input muted ! Also, be sure to make sure the app isn't messing
with the mutes on start.
To disable the EQ, you can edit FrodoSatRadX.ini
Have Fun guys.
Frodo

My God Frodo it's perfect!
It polls the box for the station list, has transparent signal strength indicators, and the problem I was having with the audio being choppy for a few minutes @ startup is magically gone
I love it already and I haven't even touched the eq yet (it's currently turned off). You should have included my updated channel art though
Thanks for all the hard work, I think it's my turn to donate!

I debated on whether to do that, I think I'll just pack yours up as a "channel pack" at a later date.

Just got back.. still managed to get a BSOD when quitting out of CF without first exiting FSRX. Perhaps that is due to the way CF closes applications? I'll post whatever specifics of the BSOD next time it occurs.
I need to re-read what you said about the EQ, and play with that part again. I was getting feedback, so I disabled it for now. Unplugging the mic might have worked just as well, right?
When the EQ interface is disabled, does it disable the EQ level settings as well?

Maybe I should explain how it works Next post will do that.

This is how the EQ works. The EQ basically records the line you have the XM unit plugged into.
It then applies effects to that and plays it back.
So to get it to work, you need to have the playback line of the device muted,
and the record device selected. (otherwise it would be double playing offset)
Does that make sense now ?
Frodo

Few bugs fixed (don't ask, I don't remember)
Minimize button (not on skin, look in the ini)
Save info button(not on skin, look in the ini)
---Also you can just click the big channel number to do the same thing.
I don't know right now if anything else made it in.
Gotta go get my espresso ! Maybe it'll jog my memory.
Frodo

Frodo, great app I love it!
One minor cosmetic thing that I noticed. The volume level (%) doesn't change when you hit + or - until you mute and unmute, then the new level will show up.
Keep up the good work - my donation is on it's way!

Wait! So now I have the record device set to Microphone (for voice recognition) and my Mic playback muted. My XM comes in via SPDIF-In. So I need to mute that and set the recorder to SPDIF? How does the mic work then since I can only have one device enabled on the recorder side???

still doesnt play nicely with centrafuse after hibernation
Any possibility to add a button that you could click to force a reconnection to the directxm, so we could just do it manually?
