Next Song search problems

If i do a search and it brings up song number 1424, 2632, 2899 and 3411 and i play song number 2632, when i click on next song it plays song number 2899. Which is the next song in the searched list.

But how do i get it to play the real next number after 2632, which is song number 2633?

This is a HUGE problem for me, because when i do a search for a song in an album, i want the album to play through, and its impossible to just scroll down and find the album when you have a few thousands mp3s.

Thanks.

If you want the whole album to play then search for the album and not the song title. The database brings back exactly what you search for. If you search for the title "hey" it will bring back (for example):

Pink Floyd - Hey You
Jimi Hendrix - Hey Joe
No Doubt - Hey Baby
Outkast - Hey Ya

Those are the songs that will currently be in the "playlist" if you will. It's not possible (that I know of) to do what you want. It will just play those results.

Now I think it would be sweet if you can click on one of those songs or something to go to the whole album or all the songs by that artist...

Yes i know that, and if i could do that, i would.
But heres an example of what one of my album directory looks like, and you'll see my problem.

!-------------- Start Of Ministry Of Sound Sessions One Disc One --------------!.mp3
01 Four to the Floor (Thin White Duke mix) - Starsailor.mp3
02 Lola's Theme (Instrumental) - Shapeshifters.mp3
03 3am - Bobby Blanco.mp3
04 Stupidisco - Junior Jack.mp3
etc etc
Z--------------End Of Ministry Of Sound Sessions One Disc One--------------Z.mp3

So if i type in "ministry sound" the first and last mp3 file will come up and in winamp when i click next, track 1 will play. This is what i would LOVE frodo player to do, because without this feature its pretty much useless to me as i cant play my albums, only individual songs and i dont know the track names in my albums all off by heart.

Frodo if your listening can you please add a button in the settings to allow this.
Just a simple button that when you click to play a song that youve searched for it will go back to the original list and when you click next it will go to the next song in the original list from the song your currently playing.

I think that might be a bug i dont know, if your playing song number 3256 and you click next and your in the "all music" list it will play song 1. Not number 3257.

You must be using jump, not search, because if you used search, your original
list would be gone and only see search results.

Yes, frodo thats right, the original list disappears, and only the search list shows up.

And when i use next it plays the next song in the searched list, or if i use random it picks a random song in the searched list.

I know this is what its suppose to do, but is it possible to make it go to the REAL NEXT song, not the next song in the searched list.

Read my first post and you should understand what i mean.

lol ****... okai you arnt understanding me here.

Just say i have a play list that looks like this.

nelly - lovin me
bon jovi - always
Arman van helden - into your eyes
nelly - ride with me
Summer of 69

if i do a search for nelly, it will come up with

nelly - lovin me
nelly - ride with me

now if i click to play "nelly - lovin me" in the searched list, when i click next i want it to go to "bon jovi - always" not "nelly - ride with me"

thats what im trying to say.

Yes, but when you go back to the FULL PLAYLIST it doesnt go to the next song properly.

Just say ive done a search for "Arman"

The only song that will come up is
- Arman van helden - into your eyes

And on the searched list i choose "Arman van helden - into your eyes" this time.

Then i click back and go to my all music list.

So now im at the list with

nelly - lovin me
bon jovi - always
Arman van helden - into your eyes
nelly - ride with me
Summer of 69

The highlighted one is playing, because i choose that in the searched list and now have gone back to my all songs list. When i click next instead, of going to "nelly - ride with me" it will go to the first song in the list which is "nelly - lovin me"

But if i choose to play this song from the all music list when i click next it works fine and goes to the next song.

thats what i mean! phew okai i think i got the msg across this time.
