Supplying FP as free software?
If I build and sell a carputer for a customer, will it be ok to supply FrodoPlayer as a free software? I guess the safest way is to recommend the customer to download the software himself but I'd like to know what's ok and what's not.

You'd have to contact Frodo directly and ask him what his licensing rules are ...

You can tell them where to get it, but if you have *any* part in installing it, or
using it for advertisement, a feature, or anything other than an honest, "go to here and check it out" then you need a commercial license.

And what does one need to do to you/for you to obtain a commercial license?

The last guy paid a fee for an exlusive license for his state,
and a per copy charge.
If you live in CA, its already taken.
