it is how it was designed.. I suppose he could have checked to see if the database was changed before reloading it.. but I guess he just coded it this way...

When I'm playing videos with FP, it plays few 2-3 musicvideos and then stops. Anyone else noticed this problem? I dunno if this happens with mp3s, but with videos it does. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

I have K-lite codecs pack. I'm playing all kind of music videos and they are xvid, divx, whoknows... whatever I find from Internet. Thanks for giving me new aspect, now I have to test different codecs.

I should of known better and held to the "if it ain't broke don't fix it" instead I used the "if it ain't broke break it" montra!

Anyway after playing around is 1.10 on the home laptops I decided to upgrade the armadaputer from 1.09 to 1.10. After working out why the hell I'd lost the XM ability. Note you have to set a different port for the vis/video lock enable(whatever that is for) to a different port than what the XM is set to, at least that is how I got it to finally work. Now my issue is with the video files. I can only see files with the *.avi extension when in the video mode. I have added the divx and mp4 extensions to the support files under the supported files settings for both database and video. I also added it to the CD page. This works on my laptops but I can't get it to work in the car. I didn't have any problems previously with 1.09 seeing and playing the files? I uninstalled 1.09 first then installed 1.10.

Another question is in XM (the external player) is it just my setup or is the clock not working correctly? I get some kind of counter and nothing that resembles a clock? I never could figure out what the counter was for until I was playing with the ini file to try and add a clock when I figured out that it was suppose to already be there.

When i launch a program embedded in FP (like GPS) it run perfectly in "embedder" panel...
The problem is that the buttons of the Embedder won't push down... I click them, they work correctly, but nothing changes on the skin... why?

I have also problems in menu.xml... i edited it like this:

When i click on each of this area FP launch APP1 (notepad) embedded, and shows as pressed the "SET 1" button (which is not in menu.xml)...

I saw that several people asked about the playlist problem about FP saving blank playlists. I did not see any solutions, has anybody been able to work around this?

I noticed the same about the embedder screen. Seems as if Frodo forgot to implement the 2nd picture (embeddown.jpg). There are some things where you can clearly see that it's just a beta version

I don't know how I finally got it to work but the mp4 and divx show up now. I added the extension to every file list under settings. Set the extensions to play with wmp under the file types settings and a couple uninstall/installs and they showed up???

Please Frodo if you are still out there, if you can just get the playlists working, this would be a really good version of FP. What do you say?
