Embed IguidanceUMPC at FullScreen

Iguidancev3 embedded is working no problem.. But.. Is there any way to get it to load "fullscreen" while embedded? Meaning.. I don't want the File, Edit, Tools Toolbar there.

I can go fullscreen while embedded, which gets rid of the File, Edit, Tools, but because it wasn't in this mode when initiallized, the "time and controls" bar cuts off the bottom of the map.

Doesn't Iguidance start up in the same mode that it exited with? On mine I just put it in full screen, exited, and now every time it starts up in full screen.

Sandworm... Thats the way Iguidance works natively, but for whatever reason, with embedded the File, Tools, View keeps coming back.

Thanatos... Ouch... 150 posts and you are my first "search" pseudo-flame.. Congrats. LOL. I searched for about an hour and a half last night, but search is only as good as your parameters. Perhaps you would recall the thread?

Thanatos.... I think I found it.. I assume you mean: "I use iGLaunch to also get rig if the gray borders so just Dl it and make sure you have this in you iGlaunch .ini (you can use the flag in a shortcut if you want)"

I thought I tried IGLaunch... Going to try again.

Oh yea.... I did try IGLaunch a few weeks ago.... Had trouble with timing, I guess (Generic GPS and IGLaunch open, but not "together". I tried numerous timing configurations and couldn't get them to "join".. and since I embedded fine with just FP, I didn't look at it again.

It wasn't a flame, just wanted to make sure you're no one of those "spoonfeed me" kind of guys......

Also try skinbedder, developer came out with some slick way to embed more than just IG main screen.

Think SkinBedder is above my need.

But I can't figure this FP/IGLaunch issue out... I've tried just about every timing combination. Are there other possibilities outside of timing?

IGLaunch appears to work fine by-itself. Running it outside of FP, loads IG3 in IGLaunch. Nowarning works fine, its embedded in IGLaunch, no problem

Here's what happens when executed with FP's GPS Generic. Embedder Skin comes up.... Iguidance comes up, embeds in IGLaunch, and then IGLaunch disappears. IGLaunch is still open, minimize and maximize gives a brief glimpse that it is open with IG3 in it, but maximize you can see the window "disappear" into the desktop.

Any ideas?

Hmmm... I think I may have made an error in my embedskin.ini (trying to get rid of gray bars with measurements *which doesn't work).... I think its the problem.

Yep.. That was it. I'm using Frigor's embedded skin. His emedskin.ini used a Comma decimal seperator.

The last time I edited it on my laptop.... I accidentally used his original file.
